That’s wonderful! I read a story just yesterday about a woman who loved watching a bird she saw on a walk, and years later she’d followed her growing passion to become a leading ornithologist.
Meanwhile, my May 1st is the first day both vaccine shots have reached full efficacy! It’s a good day.

White rabbit, white rabbit, white rabbit.
Today I drove an hour and a half (each way) to see a single bird. A single wild bird that I had no guarantee of seeing. To put it in perspective, this is a species that is maybe seen once per year in my entire state, and not in breeding plumage in May when they’re supposed to have left on migration for…[Read more]

Rabbit urine is always very concentrated, so I wouldn’t worry about the colour unless you find spots of blood on her bedding/shirt.

What kind of set up do you have where he’s able to have his own garden and how big is the garden?

My bunny gets along great with both mine and my sister’s cats for the most part (recently my bunny lunged at one of them when we were all laying on my bed, but I think that has to do with my bunny needing fixed). My bunny was a baby and the cats were adults when introduced. Two of the cats are mousers, so I wasn’t too sure at first, but it’s…[Read more]

I avoid being around the babies as a result and leave their care to my mom.
During their bonding my male would often nip at the female and she commonly reacted in fear and would run away. She is half blind and easily startled. As they grew closer her stopped nipping at her and moreso occasionally “prunes her” where he started with licking then…[Read more]

Hmm… looks odd. In young bunnies, the fur can be thin on the back of the neck. I’ve never seen thin fur on the ears though. I agree that you should keep an eye on it.

Revolution might work. However, rabbits metabolize it faster than other animals so it may not be effective against ticks for very long.

I think it’s because they’re under anesthesia longer when they’re spayed. It makes me wonder if it has to do with the anesthesia they use. Which wouldn’t be good for any rabbit if that’s the case.
