That’s very frustrating!

Have you done any imaging? like x-rays, ultrasound, etc? That would probably be my next move to see if something is going on internally.

Thanks! She is very prone to and has a bad history of stasis episodes, so because of that we cut all greens and fruit from her diet years ago. She’s been eating the timothy hay-based Sherwood Pet Health pellets for years and never had an issue with them. Do these episodes happen a certain number of house after eating?

Some bunnies don’t do well with pellets or certain veggies, so if she is a good hay eater and your vet recommends it, you might try going hay-only for a while and see if that helps.

Bun Jovi has been having slight balance issues too when cleaning his ears with his back foot, but thankfully he usually has Myra to lean up against. I know some people will add some bolsters around for the bun to lean on for extra balance, like either rolled up towels or beds with higher sides.

Hi again! Thank you to each of you for the well-wishes. I wanted to update to say that Lucy’s spay surgery went well and she is at home with us recovering! She has yet to eat much but the vet says as long as she is getting something in her system by later today, she’ll be just fine. I just brought Luna home from the vet after she was there today for her ultrasound. Things get more interesting every time we do another test, lol. The vet is still waiting for the full write-up from the ultrasonographer and also needs to do some more reading about progression and treatments etc so I’ll hear from her again early next week.
