When I yelp she switches to licking (then back to biting, rinse repeat). Not really any warning, just if she feels apt to groom me (usually as a thank you for treats).

He’s so cute!

He looks like he has some lion head in him. Maybe a lionhead mixed with one of the giant breeds? He doesn’t look like a Flemish to me, but he is large!

I wore gloves because when I got him as soon as I touched him I broke out in hives he had horrible fleas If you zoom into the photo of my hand on his back you may see the fleas when I was parting his fur

I’m sure if I should be worried but I have a dutch rabbit that I got when she only a couple months shes my first baby rabbit I’ve had and is usually a food lover. Thanks! We were able to move the appointment up a day. She still seems to be behaving normally but she does favor her “good ear”.

I hate that she may be uncomfortable but I think she should be fine until we get her to the vet on Thursday. My wife thinks things have gotten worse with how the inside of her ears looks (I don’t really think so…[Read more]

I just learned of the rolled up towel thing recently, when I was doing research before moving. It does seem to really help! I always felt so bad when they would be smushed in the back of the carrier because it was slanted.

I saw your other update, that’s so wonderful!

I would keep up with the “yelping” noise. If you only yelp when she bites/nips, she will get the picture. Does she respond to it when you make the sound?

Cooper was a bit nippy when I first got him, but I would do the yelp thing too and after a few months he doesn’t nip anymore.

I’m not sure, but I wouldn’t give antibiotics unless they were prescribed for the specific issue. There are different antibiotics used for different things, and usually outer ear infections are treated with an antibiotic drop vs. oral.

So keep your vet appointment, I’m sure the vet will clear things up. 🙂
