Were those from separate “batches”, or one pile? And are they consistently looking like that?
Sometimes buns will get a few smaller poops during a time of day when they haven’t been eating much hay. Bun Jovi will often have a batch of smaller poops in the afternoon, when he wakes up from sleeping for a while (because he isn’t eating while he’s…[Read more]

Hi, my rabbit has suddenly smaller sized poops. I don’t know what happened because nothing changed in her diet. She has these poops like day and half. In between some normal sized ones.
But could it be some blockage that she ate something she is not supposed to? Or a lot of pellets?
Can you give me advice?

I’m so sorry you lost Masha 💔
GI stasis is often a symptom of something else, sometimes sth that has been going on for a while. As you know, rabbits are experts at hiding illness until they no longer can.
Binky free, sweet girl.

Wick & Fable replied to the topic Curled dew claws in the forum DIET & CARE 5 years, 3 months ago
Unfortunately, I have no experience. It is unusual that the dew claw continues to curl more, despite frequent trimmings. Typically over time, it gets more better. I would defer to a rabbit-experienced vet, so if you are trusting and know that your vet is knowledgeable and has expertise in doing this, it sounds like this may be the best plan…[Read more]

My beautiful bun Masha crossed the rainbow bridge on the 16th. I miss her so much! Her end came way too soon and I just wish I could spend 1 more day with her! Every time I look at her empty cage I start crying. She was a perfect bunny and I can’t believe I’m not with her anymore.
She was fine on the 14th, and then on the 15th she started hiding…[Read more]

I’m so sorry for what you’re going through! I know how it feels myself, as my baby girl Masha past away 3 days ago :c Something that I saw that really helped me cope is this:

This helped me remember that our rabbits will always be with us, even if we can’t see them.

Bam replied to the topic Ear infection won’t go away?! in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 5 years, 3 months ago
Ear infection due to very narrow ear openings is unfortunately a very common problem with lop rabbits, so you will need to keep an eye on this. As LBJ says, the middle ears are connected with the mouth and nose and throat via the Eustachian tube, which means that bacteria can travel from the mouth and nose to the middle ear. There is also a…[Read more]

Wick & Fable replied to the topic Do you guys ever kick or trip over your rabbits? in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 5 years, 3 months ago
Welcome to Binkybunny Violet & Gwen! Indeed, accidentally bumping or gently “kicking” a free-roam rabbit is not uncommon. They are stealthy, silent, and quick! It’s always good to learn to shuffle the feet, as you never know when one time may be “that” time where a rabbit gets injured unfortunately. That being said, as the topic suggests, it can…[Read more]

Hi!! So almost every day I trip over my rabbit, Violet. I also accidentally “punt” her across the room! I feel so bad but she always runs around and binkys afterwards! She never seems hurt or to care. I think she does it to manly get treats and pats. I try to be so careful by scooting not taking big, fast steps, but she is silent and appears out…[Read more]

Yes and they got a little treat and ate it nicely with their little snouts together. They had been very good but I wasn’t sure if they were ready so I gave it a shot. No biggie, they’re good now!
