Is getting the vaccine safe for rabbits for is there a chance of death the closest known case to me 5 and a half hours away, not in the state but when it becomes available I would want them to get it unless the chance of death is too much.

They only offer one type of policy in FL, that is it. Frustrating. Just par for the course for Florida. LOL

Yes, you can give them less. Especially if they are getting greens every day.

I have nationwide (NY) and it does cover spay/neuter and wellness visits. You just have to ask for it. I think we pay about 45USD a month, 250USD deductible. I think it is worth it – just the neuter itself was about 400. You want to ask them for the plan called “Whole pet with wellness plan”.

I sometimes try to do this because I want them to be less wasteful and hence would like to add more when they finish the last handful.

Thanks for the links. Pellets was a need to get them back when they were babies but know they are trained… finally. I give my rabbits 1/8 each which I thought was okay. Am I giving them too much?

In addition to the previous questions, how much hay are you giving your rabbit? Is it a small handful that you’re waiting to be eaten, a lot, a little…?

That’s really odd about the Small Pet Select pellets, definitely worth mentioning to the manufacturer.

Switching pellet brands can cause issues, even when the formulas are similar. Is he still having soft poops?

Is this a sudden change? How many pellets does he get per day?

Sometimes not eating hay can indicate a dental problem, so it would be good to rule that out. Feeding too many pellets can also lead them to not eat hay.

I would try different types maybe even mixing the types or/and add herbal blends into it.
