        Is this normal bonded bunny behaviour? It seems a little odd  One of mine will be laying down and the other will sniff under their tail and around their genitalia. They both do it to each other.

          Same as dogs maybe? For identification? Or perhaps the other decided to let one go…

            I think it could be like what a dog does. Like how they go up to other dogs and sniff their butts, like an introduction. As long as they aren’t biting, then I don’t find anything wrong, even though it may be a bit strange.

              My bunnies only do this when one is hormonal From what I can find on google, it can be one of a few things: making sure that is their bunny friend, possible change in scent leaving the other(s) confused, possibly clogged scent glands and the other bunny wants to help clean, nipping the genital area to prove/secure dominance, the sniffer is hormonal and wants to mount

              As long as theres no aggression, it doesnt seem like anything to worry about
