So i made an appointment at the vet I like for next Monday. ( my vet is gone all this week) The only time I have been to the vet with the buns was before Lulu’s spay. So I was wondering what to bring, what to ask and that kinda stuff. I am going for her bald spot and I am going to ask about her the pimple on her ear.

I want to bring mocha with to keep Lulu company and so when lulu gets back from the vet mocha won’t attack her because she smells like the vet. I also know to bring hay so they can eat if they want to. Should i bring anything else? print something out to give to them? Tell them anything?

Thank you every one for sticking with me through this!

next Monday that’s great! Yes, do take Mocha and hay. You could print the sheet on skin disorders by Dana Krempels. Make sure they examine the skin carefully with scraping too and mention that your rabbits are indoors.

I’d do what I do when I bring myself to the doctor – write down anything and everything you can think of that’s relevant just in case it’s important – and -definitely- write down every question you want to ask or discuss so that you don’t forget!

I would imagine that diet, ahy consumption, quality/quantity of poop, normal behavior, any changes to behavior… (wracking my brain to think of what the vet asked me the other day about Merry…)

ok… It will probably end up being mocha and lulu’s poo because it is kinda hard to tell it apart. lol

                      LPT, Yep. haha

I have a problem… Our carrier didn’t come yet and my mom thinks I should just take lulu because that carrier is soooo small that they would be squished, but I want to take him. hopefully it comes today before i leave.

I ended up bringing mocha because they both fit in the carrier we had. they did a scraping and they didn’t see any mites but they said that sometimes if they have them they can’t always see them. So they treated mocha and lulu. they gave them medicine and they said it might be a good idea to separate them for 24 hours because they groom each other, but they said its up to me. what do you think?

can I name the medication they gave me?

                              Please do!

Personally I’d be a little wary about separating them. If you’re going to be home with them, you could just keep an eye on them and distract them with a hay or treat toy.

Good. That’s the right stuff. Do you have to reapply it anytime?

yeah in 3 weeks. if it doesn’t start to get better they are going to have her come back in.

the whole time why lulu was getting checked out, mocha was hopping around on the floor, eating hay, he was having fun and didn’t want to go home until they had to treat him, then he tried to jump off the table. lol

They checked out Lulu’s pimple type thing and they think it was a scar ( she got attacked by something with her old owners so they think thats what it was from.).

Bagheera has a pimple from when he escaped as a baby and Bumblebee nailed him in the ear. She’s a grouch.

I hope Lulu clears up soon. I wonder what could cause it. **vibes**

the vet called today and asked how Lulu was and to see if they reacted badly to the medicine. I told them I hadn’t looked were they put the medicine yet today, and they said to call to if I have any Q. so when they hung up I went and checked on her and she had a scratch that was red. should I call them tomorrow and tell them?
