  - i am getting some nic cubes for free and i am wondering if you guys could show me some pics of yours. i am probably not getting very many so i couldn’t make anything to big. so if youu could show me some pics that would be great. i already saw the ones in the cool habitate.

  This is the cage I had put together for M&M to share… its a 2 level NIC condo with the xpen attached. Nothin fancy, but it works

  Trust me, it didn’t stay clean long About 5 minutes after I put the bunnies in it, Monkey had hay everywhere. She likes throwing the hay around

  I love Monkey’s idea of using an xpen but having levels made out of NIC grids for vertical space… kind of the best of both worlds.

  hhhmmmm… i don’t have any good recent ones, but i am looking.
  
  This cage is 1 cube wider now, and this was b4 the carpet for the levels was cut. it houses two bunnies.
  
  How i housed 7 baby bunnies for a couple months (oohh the poop! lol)
  
  My 4×6 pens with a condos in the back (again super old, left litter trained bun’s, right not litter trained)
  
  Bonding 2 smaller bunnies
  
  Three cages connected in a row (These are now 2 cages in that same amount of space)
  
  I’ll try and get some more recent ones.

  thanks guys these look good! i am not sure how many i am getting but we will see. i already have a cage for them but i was looking to like add on and stuff like that. do you guys know of some way to use them to make some sort exersize area that would be fun? if you know what i mean. Andi can’t wait to see more pics!

  They might come in really handy during bonding Mocha and LuLu. You could use them to build a neutral pen. Afterwards they’ll be handy for bunny proofing or adding onto your condo.

  yeah i am going to use them to do the petzy cube. i have 2 x-pens, will they work if they used to be there cages? or should i soak them in vinegar or somthing?

  Yes it should be fine. A wipe down with vinegar wouldn’t hurt…
  
  I remember pics of your condo you posted. I though I could see both rabbits in there. Can you section it off so one is in the top and one in the bottom? By the way – I’m not sure who is who. Mocha is the lop and Lulu a dutch?

  yes i blocked the hole for the ramp but when they are bonded i will un block it. yes mocha is a lop and lulu is a dutch.

  Have you built anything with NIC cubes before?
  If not, I find buying the zip ties (zap straps etc.) at dollar stores is cheaper then hardware stores, and same with the shelf brackets (for levels support). Those plastic thingies they come with I find are a pain in the bum and just fall out. I have been able to get carpet from peoples houses for free on craigslist when they are renovating, any flooring matirial if i do not purchase i’ve got free as ‘scraps’ from a camper/RV shop they just throw it away, specially if it’s an out dated pattern.
  I used needle nose pliers to pull the straps tight and then wire cutters to cut the ends off short, and away from the bunnies, as they can be sharp, so be careful.
  
  My Fully enlcosed one has sorta 2 doors, ones the whole length up the cage, while the other is two parts, so i can open just the top half and put food in without any escapees. I’ve found it super handy.

  i didn’t get as much as i thought i would i only got enough to make two cubes but thats because the person we got it from didn’t have enough time to unhook them. she said if i need more i can came back for more. but i have enough for right now cuz for right now i just need enough to make a petzy cube. i made one with zipties but i ran out so i will have to go get more if i want to make somthing with the other ones.
