pinky – unlike her human slave – is definitely a morning bun.  firstly she knows shes getting her pellets… secondly i open up the baby gate to her room so the dog can roam in and visit.  i have a view of them from the bathroom while i get ready for the day which is the fav part of my morning.

this morning pinky was so happy that she binkied right up into bogarts face! he was pretty surprised by this and suddenly started to pay attention to her as more than just a poop machine.  he got a frisky look about him and started poking her with his big ole snout like he was prodding her to binky again.  i had to break it up since i was worried he’d get too excited and forget about the size difference… but it was soo cute & funny!

Aww. I think Bogart is the sweetest bunny-dog-slave ever.

            What a cute picture.

Bogart is such a sweetie that’s for sure. It’s cute that he loves a Pinky Binky too.

You are so fortunate as to have a canine that is tolerant (and even welcoming) to your bunny! ^_^ I wouldn’t dare let even shadow near my rabbits, even though he is totally kind and trustworthy around my cats…I just think the rabbit scent, motions and thousands of years of natural enemy ancestry would be a deadly combination. >.<
Definitely not my son’s dog either. He took me for a ride a few weeks ago when he saw a squirrel crossing the road and I STILL have remnants of bruises all over me from trying to hold him back and ending up in a face plant instead!

Isn’t Bogart some kind of border collie or something? They are pretty historically good with herbivores I think.

Oh, and ADORABLE picture, btw! ^_^ And I grieve with you on the A.M. BUN thing…Mimzy got me up at about 7 this morning (after I’d onyl gotten to sleep at 4) by throwing his pellet bowl on the floor of his pen. ~_~

lol mimz… they just do not respect us night owls! yup… bogart is assumed as part border collie (his exact heritage is unknown) which i agree works in favour of being bun-friendly. i believe that collies are instinctually herders and not hunters or retrievers. this makes sense with bogart as he constantly tries to *boink* the bun with his snout. mainly to get her to move her butt so he can check if she’s left any bb’s behind. hehe. i prevent this as much as possible because sometimes he does it roughly. its wierd tho… pinky never ever reacts with fear or anger. she’s totally cool with it and carries about normally. i think she just likes the companionship.

thanks for the compliments on my pic… it’s my fav and is my wallpaper at work right now.  doncha just love my authentic ’69 linoleum?

Gotta put a smile on your face in the morning! They must be a comfort to one another now with Baby having crossed the RB.

Oh I lived with that EXACT linoleum throughout my house for most of my childhood, believe me it’s fun stuff! ^_^ I can remember sitting in the loo, making pictures in your mind out of the patterns on the floor out of boredom…lolz!
Like the Hubble images I posted…I see all sorts of stuff in patterns like that. ^_^

At least it’s easy to clean!
