I was surfing around Craigslist today and found an ad for this Ebay store that sells NIC cage supplies. I know some of you have had trouble finding the right NIC grids lately, and this store also sells flooring, ramps, etc. Looks pretty cool though I have no idea how the prices compare to what you could find in a store.

I forgot to add: if you mention the ad on Craigslist, you get a 10% discount.

That’s awesome thanks. I’m having some trouble finding some here. Apparently the “bunny-proof” split flex tubing is the most delicious thing in the world and quite easily chewed through. I need a different way to save my little muncher from herself. I was almost ready to resort to spending an entire day goofing off with threading every wire in my office through pvp pipes.

Adalaide, if you go to Lowe’s in the plumbing section, you can buy this small black rubber tubing by the foot super cheap. I buy it, sit down with a pair of scissors and split it up the side. Works wonderfully! It’s extra thick so much harder to chew through.

Hooty, my hands were red for an hour from cutting up tubing. Lol Make sure you have sharp scissors!

That’s a good resource… I’ve found the grids at bed bath and beyond (14.5″) and am planning on going to buy some in the next few days. They’re $15 for 16 and I’ve got a $5 off coupon. Also have a 20% off coupon but I don’t need many more than 16 because I’m using the house walls…

Has anyone had trouble with the cable cords? Should it be covered or is it too solid to be of much interest?

I don’t know about rubber tubing. If I leave my shoes out for 2 minutes she tried to eat the soles off. She also chewed 6 buttons off the remote that got kicked on the floor. Seriously, I think she’ll eat anything . Better to keep her away than play the “can she eat this” game. Didn’t know about Bed, Bath and Beyond, I’ll take any excuse I can find to end up in that store. Shhhh, don’t tell my husband haha.

Edit: Ok, so I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and asked for the grids. The girl at the counter looked at me kinda funny and with the most vacant stare I’ve ever seen. I was just waiting for the preppy “Idunno” to come out. Luckily as I was describing what I wanted the manager walked up and was all “you mean the stacking cubes.” Sure buddy, whatever gets me my bunny proofing haha.

If in doubt – cover it!  One member had a problem with her bun that was obsessed with a cable. The bun even dug it out of the wall.

Wow thanks for sharing that! I don’t use eBay but those are tempting me to get an account. I’m embarrassed to admit I only have 26 cube panels and it cost me $50.

Sell your soul and get on the mailing list for Bed, Bath and Beyond. I only paid $10 today for my box of 16. Just enough to make a little tunnel for the cables behind the desks and hide the cords behind the entertainment center. For some wierd reason it has a huge hole for cables where we keep the dvds, she loves lounging on top of them and now I don’t have to worry about her when she does.

Adalaide, I’m glad that worked out for you! I get a $5 off coupon from them in the mail more often than I can recall (probably once a month?)… and a 20% off one every quarter. Definitely a good bunny deal… Though I think I’m going to use the 20% off for kitchenaid addons… my bf got me a green apple stand mixer for my graduation =O (I’ve wanted one of those for ages).

But actually I like junk mail from BBB. It always has a coupon in it and isn’t excessive.

Is linens and things still in business? I see they have a website still and it has a lot of pet supplies on it which I never associated with their store.

I’ve been to the website but have never seen an actual store. My web visit was probably about a year ago when I got married. Gratz on the new mixer, aren’t they the most amazing thing ever? I was divorced about 6-7 years ago from the most evil man on earth, and lost my kitchenain in the process. So sad.

Do the BBB coupons work on their website? I haven’t actually seen one in real life because they’re only on the mainland US…

I’ve never thought to try Miyuki. Most coupons have a code on them somewhere you can use for online purchases. If you have any BBB coupons that don’t have a code I’d try contacting them to see if there’s a way you can take advantage of it also.

Almost forgot… the manager said they get them in colors around back-to-school time. Can’t wait to get enough pink ones to build her a bunny condo!

It says on their website first time subscribers get a 20% off coupon code in-store, and the ones I received in the mail are also in-store only. I did a quick google and it looks like BBB doesn’t allow online coupons except for gift registries (which is on pg 3 of the checkout process?). However, BBB has submissions about their site blocked on RetailMeNot.com… so this is either so gift registry people don’t post their codes, or because there actually are a lot of codes… Or maybe because they don’t want people posting phony codes and then having customers call them up saying they can’t find the place to put their codes in.
