Just wondering if anyone else’s buns seem to have bad dreams?

The other evening, I was sitting in our computer room playing a game (nothing loud) and Rocky and Napoleon (who live free roam in that room) were passed out asleep. Suddenly, for seemingly no reason, Rocky jumped awake, thumped, and raced behind the couch like he was startled. In a couple of minutes, he calmed down and fell back asleep.

This happens periodically, he will be sound asleep, then suddenly wake up and thump, or make little squeaking noises in his sleep. The only thing we can figure is that he is having bad dreams, because it happens when there hasn’t been any changes in the room or environment (sounds, etc). He also is a very deep sleeper and gets so relaxed, he looks like he melted on the floor lol.

I’ve seen bunnies twitching and “running” with their feet in their sleep, so I don’t think it’s far fetched to think they could have a dream about something that startles them.
