  I have two rabbits. One, according to the breeder, is five months and the other is four months. they’re both males and going to get neutered in about a month.
  
  When we got the rabbits, i had instantly put them together in one pen without bonding, as i was unaware we were supposed to. they have everything they need, like water, food, hay, toys, etc
  
  they havent had any trouble until recently. before 2 days ago, they were fine. they snuggled, groomed each other, ate from the same bowl, etc
  
  around two days ago the younger rabbit started humping the older rabbit. the older rabbit was bit and i believe it drew a bit of blood.
  
  we separate them every time this happens, but when we put them together, he does it again. sometimes near instantly, other times after a few minutes or hours.
  
  i dont know what i should do!

  Your buns have hit puberty. Tvey must be separated now, and kept spart until a month after they both are neutered.
  
  Separate them as soon as you can, becsuse the humping and fighting will get worse. If they get in a bad fight, it might not be possible to bond them after their neuter.
  
  They should be kept apart so they cant reach each other, rabbits can hurt each other through grids/bars. That can result in bad wounds to nose and eyes -rabbits are fierce. It’s good if they can be kept within viewinh and hearing distance, just make sure there’s no possibility of physical contact.

  Yep, hormones kick into high gear around this age. What follows will be humping, which can escalate to chasing and fighting. It can happen in the blink of an eye. So it’s best to keep them separated for now, even if they have periods where they are “fine”. As Bam said, a bad fight can make bonding difficult or impossible in the future. It’s just not worth the risk of injury.
