I’ve had good luck with ant baits kept out of bun’s reach, plus food-grade diatomaceous earth around areas where they are coming into the house. You don’t want to be dusting all around the buns, but once it’s on the ground it’s very safe and my buns ignore it.

You can use something a little “stronger” as long as it is outside. Like pest control companies will sometimes spray around the perimeter on the exterior of the house. I have had no issues with them doing this.

Yes good point, as long as the windows are closed and you don’t wait till everything is dried to go outside. I had the exterior of my house sprayed with fipronil which is super toxic to rabbits but everything was OK.
