Hi can someone help me so me and my partner got an 8 week old bunny and they’re in the same room one is 2 years old and one is 8 weeks old as I stated above but the 2 year old is free roam but we put the 8 week old in a play pen until he can be spayed etc, but my 2 year old bunny is acting really different since we got him and she sleeps in front of his play pen the male licks her like there’s no problems with them but it’s the female that just doesn’t really play or run around like she use to. Is there any reason why she is like this?
        Thank you

Is she eating, drinking and pooping like normal? If not, there could be a health problem that’s not directly related to the presence of the new bunny.

Introducing another rabbit into a household changes things. The rabbits dont even have to meet physically or even see each other, rabbits pick up on the scent of other rabbits. This will affect the behavior of the rabbits. Rabbits are as a rule a lot more interested in other rabbits than in humans.
