        Hi guys!

I bought a new brand of pellets for my rabbits and they hate them and I was in bad books 😂

I was wondering if it was safe to soak them in sugar free squash and then bake/dry them to use as treats?

Sugarfree squash seems to have artificial sweeteners, and while aspartam and saccharine are not toxic to rabbits, I think theyre best avoided. Xylitol must definitely be avoided because it is toxic to rabbits. (Xylitol is sometimes called birch sugar in ingredient lists).

I think I’d rather soak the pellets in orange or apple juice to make bunny cookies. Or mix with mashed banana. The cookies will be treats, so its not like they’d eat heaps of them.
