A friend came over and I found out they were vaping around my rabbit. Will she be okay or is that toxic to rabbits or anything? I dont really know much about vaping but I know smoking and things like that are bad for rabbits to be around.

It wouldnt be good for your bun to be exposed to a lot of vaping, say every day. But on an isolated occasion it’s not likely to have caused you bun any sort of damage.

A single exposure probably isn’t going to do anything, especially if the bunny was just in the vicinity. Long-term exposure though is probably not good for them.

Ironically I’ve just come back from the vet (EC 😔) and I mentioned about my buns history in that he sneezed a lot and then I quit vaping and it stopped, vet said it’s not toxic but clearly was aggravating his nose, so agree one off is fine but long term you feel like a monster for making your rabbit sneeze constantly 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hi Felicity0118, this is an old thread so the OP is unlikely to see this reply. We ask that members don’t reply to old threads for that reason, so I’ll be locking this thread now.
