Howdy! As many of you know our beloved Yesterdays news was discontinued. I wanted to come onto here and see if anybody had any suggestions regarding good rabbit litter.
I have tried the wood stove pellets in the past, and one if my rabbits absolutely despised them.
However, I know some of the pet store brands have baking soda in them and should not be used. Therefore, I just thought I’d try my hand at asking you guys!
        Thanks!

I’m assuming that your rabbit didn’t like the pine/wood smell to the wood stove pellets.  The wood stove pellets and horse stall pellets that so many people use (from Tractor Supply) do have a strong smell in my opinion, but I don’t know if that smell is bothersome to a lot of rabbits.  Small Pet Select makes a paper pellet litter.  You can buy it from their website or from Amazon.  I’ve never used it, but I’ve seen the reviews.  People like it okay, but not as well as Yesterday’s News.  I have used Oxbow Eco-Straw litter, and I like it. It’s a pelleted straw litter.   A few people have mentioned a faint smell to it, but I have never smelled anything.  I usually top any pelleted litter that I use with something like Carefresh, which is softer on their feet.

Thank you for the response! I have tried the eco straw but they just eat it! I’ll check out the one you suggested!
