Dorian occasionally has little short sneeze attacks, but they usual don’t last all day. Today he’s been sneezing since morning on and off. They are really sad squeaky little sneezes. He seems fine otherwise,  playing and eating. He may have had a little clear mucus near his nose (it’s not enough for me to be certain). There has a lot of hay dust which got added to the litter (near end of bag) which maybe the issue? Or could he have a cold or such? How do I tell?

If it’s irritation, then the sneezing will subside once the irritant is no longer there. If the sneezing persists, then it’s probably an infection. Discharge may be noticeable, but not always.

We vacuumed everywhere and gave their room a deep clean and got rid of all the hay dust (I was sneezing by the end). I am hoping that is all it is as he does sneeze occasionally from dust or such, he is a delicate little prince bun. I will call vet if he still is sneezing tomorrow.  He’s not sneezing right now, so fingers crossed.

Maybe you can get a hepa filter for the bunny room to help take dust, allergens, and stuff out of the air if his sneezing persists.

Good idea, I might look into a small one @Moonshadow, just have to figure out how to set it up so any cording in bun safe.

He did sneeze a little bit last night, though less often and quieter, and his nose looked irritated, but so far today I haven’t heard him sneeze and his nose doesn’t look irritated any more (it was slightly reddish). I figure if this was snuffles it would not get better after cleaning. I usually am pretty on top of cleaning as I am pretty sensitive to the hay, but was super worn out last week so let it slide a little, also bottom of hay container was pretty dusty and I’ll make sure to not just tip it in their hay boxes from now on. I guess Dorian needs thing up to his princely standards! Right now he is snuggling with Miu while she sucks on one of their little blankets (why she does this I have no idea, but it looks really cute)
