I went to feed my bun his pellets this morning, and usually he’s very excited, but today he just stayed in his spot and didn’t come up to his food. I held a pellet up to his mouth and he turned away, also pushed his stomach to the floor. I tried giving him a freeze dried banana, he ate half of it, but now won’t eat any more of it.

He ate his pellets and veggies last night, so I think this is the very beginning stages of stasis. I think I’m gonna run to the store and get fresh banana, baby gas drops, and also give him some critical care and water through a syringe. I’m trying my very best not to panic

I tried rubbing his tummy and he let me do it. Typically he won’t let me do that for long, so I figure this means it’s bothering him. I think Ill continue doing this, but Im not sure how often I should be doing it.

So far that’s the only “treatment” I’ve given him. I’m on my way to the store now. I’m just wondering if anyone else has any suggestions, and also knows when I should take him to the vet? Should it be in a specific amount of days / hours or should I be looking for specific signs? Thank you all so much in advance!
