My first time posting here! My 1 year old male rabbit has a bit of a bulgy eye it’s not too big but you can feel it’s bigger than the other eye. He’s not acting any different than before and is eating and pooping normally. Should I take him to the vet? I’ve  never taken him to one and he’s not neutered yet. Someone give me some advice thanks !

Yes, please take him to a rabbit-savvy (i.e., rabbit-experienced exotic) vet for assessment. As prey animals, rabbits are ‘programmed’ to hide their discomfort and pain, so while it’s great for his prognosis that he is acting ‘fine’, how a rabbit acts is not a reliable indicator of how they are actually doing health-wise.

I agree with Wick&Fable, definitely something to visit the vet about. It could be an abscess that’s pressing on the eye from the inside.

Okay! I’ll make sure to contact a vet, thanks for the info!
