Hi all! Wondering if anyone could help me.

recently noticed my rabbits eye is slightly watery at times, mainly when he has a little bit of an eye bogger there/when fur is in his eye.

It easily removes with a damp cotton pad, and his eye goes back to normal after. His eating habits is exactly the same, and he seems normal in himself. Just wanted to hear a 2nd opinion, and wasn’t sure if a vet trip was needed.

the fact that it’s not consistent/constantly like this doesn’t worry me as much.. but I just wanted to check either way

I think it’s normal for all animals to get eye boogers sometimes, people get them too 🙂 But it really depends how frequently and if the eye is irritated as well. If there’s no obvious irritation and it’s once in a while, that’s ok. If it’s creating quite a bit of discharge every day or two then that’s something that should probably be looked at.
