Onyx seems to be passing up his pellets but wants wants sweet snacks like dried bananas..  I’ve cut him off them hoping to force him to eat the pellets…I afraid something could be wrong with his teeth but he won’t let me look.

How is his hay eating? Usually eating hay is the first to go with tooth problems, but not always. What kind of pellets are you feeding and how much?

              Found it:
His hay eating is good. He eats Kaytee Timothy pellets only ( no junk ) 1/4 c. morning & evening.
I did notice he eating some pellets. But, usually empty the bowl.

How big is he? 1/2 cup total per day is a lot of pellets. Is he an adult?

He’s about 5lbs. & He’s 21/2.  Is that to much pellets ??  He poops a lot. More then any other I’ve ever had..  My last passed away at 13 yrs old.. So, I keep my same routine.. I adopted him & he’s fixed…I had bought a different brand of Kaytee Forti- diet.. PetSmart’s we’re all out everywhere. He wouldn’t eat. So, I found his regular.  He at Petco…
