Normal — I agree with @DanaNM that overtime, him getting exposure to your presence entering his field of view/sensory perceptions isn’t something threatening will lessen this immediate reaction. It has only been two months, so I wouldn’t read into it as a personality trait or anything.
Also remember that, like humans, when a rabbit is very chilled and used to the state of the space, anything new coming in (especially a large human!) can naturally make anything feel a bit startled! My Fable, who I’ve had for over two years now, is a more anxious bun and she still tenses if I burst into a room a bit too suddenly or when she’s in the middle of napping. It is nothing personal towards me, but just her anxious rabbit brain making her alert to sudden environmental stimulus.
