  Hi everyone! I posted a question a few weeks ago because I was using a topical Clindamycin lotion on my face and I was worried because I know that Clindamycin is dangerous to rabbits. I am now starting Cephalexin 750 mg capsules orally for a week and I am worried about this. Is it okay for me to take these antibiotics and then interact with my rabbit? I know that rabbit should never take oral Cephalexin as it can cause enterotoxemia, so I am just a little bit worried even though I am the one taking the antibiotics.

  I don’t see how you taking them orally would pose any kind of risk to your rabbit. You should be fine.

    Okay thank you. I just wanted to make make sure that there wasn’t any risk to my rabbit
