My rabbit ate a small dried pineapple wedge she found on the floor. I wasn’t aware that it was there. Should I be concerned?

Id not be concerned. Offer her fresh hay and water -sometimes they eat more if you hand feed.. If you normally  give her greens, serve them freshly rinsed and dripping wet. Pineapple isnt toxic. It has sugar, but unless she pigged out on a huge part of a pineapple,  I think she’ll be fine.

It’s one of the few fruits that my Vet actually is not against Dorian eating. He said like papaya it helps with digestion and can help with them when they are shedding. That said, too much of any fruit is not good, though I find dried pineapple generally has less sugar than say apples, it’s still a treat food. That all said a small piece on the floor is fine 🙂
