        Hey!

Since my buns Glenn & Bella have recently bonded I’ve been thinking if taking them out in the garden in a pen for a bit of supervise play on the grass, they are fully vaxed and it will be fully supervised so im not worried about anything like that. My question is more, do I need to do anything to prepare them ect or can i just take them out today for example for an hour or so with no harm done? I know when moving them from living indoors to outdoors there are more rules but is it the same for a short play time session?

Its about 9 degrees celcius outside so a little chilly with some wind but fairly sunny.

Do you think it would be okay to take them out today?

        Thanks!

9 degrees C would be ok for say half an hour – an hour (since it’s the first time outside), depending on how windy and wet it is, of course. If the grass is wet you should dry their undersides with a towel when you take them in.

Okay great, thanks for clarifying that! I will stick to an 30 mins to an hour for now until the weather warms up a bit more 🙂

I believe Bella used to be an outdoor bunny before we rescued her anyway so might be more acclimated to the temps.
