Up until recently my little flood has been pooping and peeing in his litter box. But recently, also note he is being treated for stasis, he has wanted to pee and poop on my couch.
He is mostly free range but at night he goes in a hutch with his primary night box. When he is around the house he will use the box in the bathroom.

the box he has started avoiding is his night one. I am nervous that he holds/attempts to hold his poop at night. Is there anything I can do.

I have event put some of his poop in there to try and trick him so he thinks he likes going there. I normally work from  home but sometimes I have to go to other sites during the day and I don’t want him to hold his poop until I get home cause I know it’s not good for him.

        I need some advice.

note: I am happy he is going.

Is the little teddy bear neutered? Maybe he’s not going potty in his litterbox all the time because he hasn’t fully recovered from GI stasis. Although I don’t know why he would be going in his litterbox up until now, and then suddenly start going somewhere else? That’s good he is going potty! ♡

I agree with Cinnamon Bun that it could be because he doesn’t feel great right now. It might help to block access to the couch until he’s 100% recovered to prevent it from becoming a habit.
