        Hi my male rabbit is ripping the hair at the nape of the neck on my female rabbit to the point that it’s bleeding I haven’t seen anything posted on this and am looking for help

          Are they bonded (and spayed/neutered)? have you noticed whether this is happening during grooming (over-grooming), or perhaps a rough mounting attempt? The location sounds like maybe excessive mounting?

              They are both spade/neutered and have been bonded when I have seen the male do it looks as he’s trying to get on top of her then he falls and rips hair out

              Hmmm, have there been any changes in your household? Such as a recent move or new pets?

              The other thing that can sometimes trigger things like this is a health change in one of the rabbits. Sometimes when one rabbit is ill it can trigger some dominance behaviors in the bond.

                There is a such thing as stress humping. I have first-hand knowledge! LOL  Do you think he could be stressed out about something? Loud noise? Strange smells? Change in the household?
