  Is timothy hay with preservative Ok for bunnies? It’s a 1st cut timothy hay with a small amount of silo king preservative which is non toxic.

  Unsure what that is, but I’d avoid it. Hay should just be hay, maybe herbs/flowers for the fancy stuff. Nothing artificial.

  I don’t believe it is harmful. However, it would mean that the hay isn’t sun-cured. Or at least not sun-cured all the way (i.e. wet conditions didn’t allow for it). Sun-cured hay is preferable because it doesn’t contain preservatives and it has higher vitamin D content (as well as other nutrients).
