My rabbit is recovering from pasteurella (snuffles) he’s condition is improving. I wanted to know if it can spread to another animal? Because I’m getting a new puppy soon and I’m worry if the puppy would get pasteurella, I don’t even know if they could get it. I’m not gonna make them meet each other till my rabbit gets better. But I pet my rabbit sometimes, lay down with him and stuff,  I don’t know if the bacteria from his snuffles could be on my clothes and stuff and spread around my house, I do wash my hands every time I’m done playing with him.

I don’t believe pasteurella will do anything to other animals, but I’m not certain. Notably, all rabbits carry pasteurella, but only some rabbits will actually get and express the disease, since most of the time, a healthy rabbit’s immune system keeps it in check. For that reason, I don’t think your puppy would be harmed because even healthy rabbits have it and we obviously know of plenty of dog/rabbit and cat/rabbit relationships that have done well health-wise.

Highly unlikely. As Wick said, many rabbits are carriers and do not show symptoms.
