This little guy is Ember! (I was told by the place where I adopted him from that he was 8-9 months, however the vet said he looked to be 4-5 months). I’m not quite sure what type of rabbit he is (we’re fairly certain he’s a hotot dwarf mix based on research). Ember is with me at school, and just bravely and collectedly made a 6 hour trip yesterday (with water and snack breaks and some room to stretch!) with little issue. He’s been chilling with me on my bed for the past few hours, and has dug at his blanket, nibbled at the lettuce and carrot that I put for him (he’s got plenty of hay, water, and pellets). However, I have noticed he hasn’t pooped or peed on my bed. I’m concerned because he did yesterday. Ember in the past month I’ve had him hasn’t pooped on the floor or furniture (he did go to the bathroom on my weighted blanket, but he loves climbing on that). I’m a little worried about him. Is he stressed from his ride the other day? He looks like he’s been sleeping much of today, but I can’t really tell because rabbits sleep with their eyes open. I love this little dude, and want him to be healthy and safe. I do believe he pooped earlier, and certainly did last night. He was hiding a bit this morning, but I think that might be because he’s in a new place. What can I do to help him?
