To my understanding, bugs can be carriers, so if one gets in that happens to be one, there is a risk. I personally would say just not do it to be extra cautionary, as I don’t think rabbits need the stroller ride for enrichment/engagement. There are plenty of things to do indoors to spice things up, like re-arrange furniture or create forts with leftover shipping boxes and such.

I agree. Until they are vaccinated, I wouldn’t take them outside at all if you are in an outbreak region. There are some links to maps of the outbreak spread in the pinned RHDV post.

Being in the stroller would be a lot less risk than being on the ground outside, but personally I don’t really see any benefit to it (in most cases, the stroller is more fun for the human than the bun).

Personally, I never took my first rabbit outside because of fears from pesticides/insecticides as well as insects. He lived a long 8 years and still ended up having worms at one point at a young age! However, I do not feel it is worth the risk unless you know exactly how the grass/plants are treated. If you want to take them outside and let them roam I think it is important to know the environment. However, if you plan on using just a stroller and keeping them from external plant sources, you should be fine as they wouldn’t be consuming unknown objects. : ) you seem like a good bun owner regardless just for checking your options!
