We adopted a 6-8 month old French lop (Blueberry) as a friend to our 2 year old Holland lop (Rabbit). We tried to do a quick introduction between the two of them today and Rabbit lunged at Blueberry and broke some skin. We obviously immediately separated them and will not bring them together for a while.

Luckily Blueberry seems perfectly fine. Eating well and drinking water. I cleaned the wound with a bit of saline on a cotten pad and she seems alright. It stopped bleeding.

Any tips on how to make Blueberry feel welcome and at home in her new space? And any tips on bonding? There’s a lady in our area who has a bonding session so maybe I’ll do that?
