        Hi all,

I have a 7 month Holland Lop, and she was spayed about 3 weeks ago. After she was cleared by vet to return to normal activity, she had a-lot of spunk in her and was more energetic and adventurous then usual. Although, the past 2 days her behaviour/activity has winded down. She dose not seem to want to run around as much, especially when people are around.

I have been worrying about her, because this is very unlike her.

Otherwise she is completely normal (eating, drinking…etc)

I know that this could all be hormonal as a result of her spay, but I am still unsure.

Dose anyone have any idea is this is normal behaviour/activity after spay?

She could be feeling the effects of hormonal changed caused by the spay. It seems boys will yo-yo more than girls, but that’s just what I’ve noticed on the forum. No idea if that is really true. I think as long as she is still eating and pooping well, it’s probably a bit premature to be concerned.
