I live in Pennsylvania USA and there is a bunny outside I would like to help if it is domestic. It has some similar colorings to our local wild rabbits so I am wondering if anyone has an easy way to tell the difference?  Thank you for any advice you might have.

It looks pretty chunky to be a cottontail. It looks like a European rabbit. Whether it is “wild” or not would be harder to tell. There are places with feral populations of European rabbits that live and breed in the wild. That bunny could have been dumped by someone or it could have been born in the wild.
