Hi everyone, Bentley got neutered 3 days ago and is doing great. It was at a vet who usually has the rabbit stay overnight but since no one is actually staffed overnight, I insisted that he came home that evening. After surgery, I was told he was eating and pooping  and was sent home with pain meds. Since then he has been doing very well. Eats and poops like a champ haha.

What I was wondering about is, since he has been home, he has yet to flop or sploot in his post op enclosure. He has his favorite bed, which is often lays flat on with his back legs sticking out but for the past 3 days, he hasn’t laid down at all. His incision looks fine and hes acting perfectly normal. His belly was shaved a bit bc it was a pre-scotal neuter instead of cutting the scrotum sac. I’m wondering maybe it feels weird with no fur? he will lay his head on the ground but not his body. his enclosure is covered with fleece and foam mats under them so I dont think its cold or anything.
