White nails against white fluffy hair…argh!😜

Would it be too stressful to take him to my dog grooming friend…I hold, she cuts?  Hubby not good in these situations.

It could be very stressful if there are dogs around. Many vet clinics offer nail clipping (by a vet tech) for a reasonable fee. (That doesnt guarantee freedom from dogs in the waiting room, of course).

If the nails are white you should be able to see the quick? My bun has some white nails and some black (he has white markings). The white nails are a lot easier to clip because the quick is visible.

Yes, and I can’t recommend highly enough this technique: https://binkybunny.com/forums/topic/presspressclip-nail-trim-technique/  It was a game changer for my bunnies and me!  I used to pay a local bunny shelter worker to come over and clip their nails before I found this technique.  It’s much more calming for both me and the buns because we know I can’t accidentally cut the quick this way.

Also, you can keep a cup of water nearby to wet your hand and then gently wet the toe fluff a little with your wet fingers, which helps if you’re having trouble finding the nails.  I have a Lionhead so I know the struggle!  😉
