Is this mould in hay??

  Hi everyone,
  
  I recently bought a bale of horse quality timothy hay from a reputable feed company. The hay smelled great and my bunnies seem to enjoy it, and have no issues since beginning feeding it a couple of weeks ago. I always sort through the hay while breaking it up to make sure it’s alright to feed, and today a large clump fell out. I broke it up with my fingers trying to figure out what it is, and I am concerned it is mould (or maybe dirt?)! There is nothing remotely similar anywhere else in the bale, and it didn’t have any sort of smell to it. I am colour blind, and so I honestly don’t know what colour it is. Is anyone able to identify this? If it is mould, do I need to take my rabbits in for medical advice since they have been eating it for weeks?
  
  – both bunnies are acting 100% normally, and my picky bun who usually only eats orchard grass mixes enjoyed it!

  It doesnt look like mold. Mold doesnt have to be very visible though. It doesnt have to smell, but it often does. Could it be clumps of plant material that isnt grass, or peat/dried soil? It is a bit difficult to see.
  
  Since the buns like the hay, I think Id just pick out the clumps. I’ve had hay that contained bits of moss and peat, but was otherwise fine.

  It doesn’t look like mold to me, but it’s hard to tell from the picture.
