Hi everyone! While playing with my bun today I noticed a light pink spot peaking through his fur, once he relaxed I pulled the fur back and noticed what looked like a pink callous. (the camera flash makes it look more red in the photo then it does in real life)

My bun has been his normal crazy self constantly binkying and zooming all over the place so I know he isn’t in any pain!

His cage has a dog crate for a base and when free roaming he is always on a soft plush carpet I have.

However I will admit I do slack on the nail cutting which could be a cause for this.

My question is, does this look like a callous or a sore hock and should I be worried even though he’s acting happy as ever?
