I am here to follow up on rescued bunny situation. Thank you for replying to my questions. Five juvenile rabbits dumped on a trail head near my house. Found homes for all but the little boy, dwarf hotot, maybe mixed with Netherland. He has integrated into our household. I’ve never had a house rabbit before.  I appreciate your advice and what I learned from Mary Cotter on YouTube.

This little bunny has taken over my heart and life.  My son named him after an animal character, Jean-Pierre  AKA JP but I call him Pom Pom. Yesterday he allowed me to pet him and today I was able to give him a full massage. I knew he needed that grooming type behavior since he is a single bunny. I am so happy with this development I just had to share. It seems like he is well on his way to having a happy, fulfilled bunny life.  I splurged on a hideout, as seen in photo  We’ll see if he uses it.

Many thanks to the community and especially the moderators. It is so wonderful to be able to be a good companion and caretaker of this delicate, intelligent, and sensitive creature.

Thank you for being wonderful! Jean-Pierre/JP/Pom Pom is a very lucky little rabbit.

          Love his new hideout!

This is great. Look at that hideaway. This is a wonderful group. You are doing good with pom pom.
