        Hi,

Lockie the mini lop was spayed on Monday (she’s had a pretty rough time and been in veterinary day care for 2 days) she came home earlier this evening.
She is so much brighter in herself and is eating although being a diva and expecting to be hand fed.
I have noticed her tail is wet with urine and when she “goes” she tilts and pushes her pelvis down towards the floor.
why is this? Is it because she’s sore from surgery?
        thank you in advance x

I don’t have experience with a recovering female from a spay, but this sounds unusual, in perhaps there’s strain or pain in urination, preventing her from successfully arching her back in order to be clear of the urine stream. Have you contacted the vet to mention this?

I agree that’s a bit unusual, I would give the vet a call to see what they think.
