So, my rabbit keeps jumping around like this (see videos) and flattening my covers. Is he a happy bunny? (I’ll respond to this post with the other videos)

This type of behavior does not happen if a rabbit is not feeling secure and comfortable. In terms of “happiness”, I am mixed about it for binkies in general. For example, one of my rabbits does this very often on his “medication/grooming mat”, which is what I put him on for grooming. He definitely doesn’t like it, but enacts these binkies on it afterwards. I see it as expressing general pent-up energy, whether it is happiness or frustration!

Yes, binkies can have a different meaning depending on the context. He does look content here, almost as if he’s playing with the comforter.

                Hi again,

                Thank you for your responses!

I’m very glad he seems happy or at the least comfortable to you! Both of my rabbits do this same type of binky, I just wasn’t sure if it was a sign of distress or happiness or other.

I love watching him when he’s like that. He is adorable and funny 🙂 (sometimes it’s hard to sleep when they’re both running and jumping everywhere, but I love them with all my heart, so not a problem)

By the way, I wanted to mention the cord on the bed; they don’t chew it because it’s very large, I do hide my phone and computer chargers though, so no worries about that.
