So sorry you were not feeling well. I hope you are better now. I agree with the others, I’m sure he doesn’t hate you and I would definitely do what pinkiemarie said if you can.
This is what it has worked for me:
My rabbit gets very scared with loud noises. If he is very terrified and needs hiding, I leave some herbs/treats next to him and try to be quite for few hours. Then I put some classical music (low volume), and after few more hours he is back to his normal self. When I first got him he got petrified once. I groomed him covering his eyes, talked to him very quietly, and put herbs or smelly treats very close to him so he would come back from the shock. After that, I put some classic music and checked on him often. He has never gotten that scared again. When rabbits get super scared it can take them few days to fully recover, specially if your rabbit is not very confident. If he runs away from you when you enter the room, get him some treats/herbs to reinforce positive feelings, and don’t force interactions; let him come to you.
