I have a 7 month old Lionhead who weighs about 3 to 4 pounds. He was running around my room and I went downstairs for about 5 minutes and came back up and a piece of chocolate filled with caramel was sitting on my floor and it had teeth marks in the caramel so I know he was eating it even though I didn’t directly see it. It was in my trash so he pulled it out. The whole candy weighs 1 ounce and it’s mostly caramel with probably about 1/2 cm of chocolate surrounding it. I’m really worried and don’t know what to do. I would say he ate about 1/4 of it at most. He’s acting fine right now and eating his hay but this only happened about an hour ago. Can somebody please help me or tell me if they think it will be fatal or if there’s a chance he’ll be okay?
The photos I attacthed are of the chocolate, the one on the left is just for size comparison. I ate about half of it, so he didn’t eat the entire amount that’s missing I just attached these to show how much chocolate/caramel there is.
