Thank you for rescuing a bun and planning to spay her. 🙂 It would be best to wait until after her spay. Hormones in intact females can make it very hard to bond them properly, so it would likely be lots of stress without much pay-off.
She’ll need 2 weeks to heal, and then it can take a bit of time for hormones to settle after spaying, so if you try dating them and it doesn’t go well, wait a bit longer and try again.
Other than that the advice is the same for any other pairing. If you are new to bonding check out the bonding section under “bunny info” at the top of the page, it has lots of helpful tips. 🙂 Pre-bonding can be really helpful, and I find I am a lot less stressed when each rabbit has a decent housing situation and I feel good about how they will exercise. You’ll also want to have a good neutral space planned to work with them in. Small or large spaces can work well, depending on the bunnies, so I would plan to try whatever is most convenient first. But if it doesn’t seem to be going well experiment with the space a bit.
