Hi All! We just had our 6.5 month old lop neutered.  It has been three days since his surgery and he seems WAY more hormonal, trying to mount our legs and honking and really agitated.  He is more persistent than he ever tay before the surgery. Is this something anyone has experienced before?

        Thank you!

This is totally normal after a neuter. Their hormones increase for 4-6 ish weeks after, before going away. Give it some time, and he’ll settle down.

Thank you so much for the reassurance!

Yup, just gotta ride out the post neuter hormone craze. 😉

I wouldn’t allow him to hump anything, or run and jump, he might aggravate the wound. It’s best to keep them confined for at least a week.

Completely normal. It can take a few weeks for his hormones to settle down. It will get worse before it gets better, unfortunately.
