I adopted my netherland dwarf Pillow a month ago from his former owner who is not able to take care of him anymore. She told me that she is certain that Pillow is neutered, however, I just found out that he may still have his testicles. Nevertheless, his behaviour is not hormonal at all. He doesn’t spray his urine everywhere, he uses his litter box well, he is not protective of his playpen, he doesn’t seem to have any sexual behaviours, and he doesn’t smell at all. So I wonder if he is really neutered or he is just an unneutered rabbit with a very good personality?

You are right, he is definitely not neutered! Pillow seems an appropriate name, LOL!

If he isn’t behaving hormonally then you may have just lucked out.

His former owner told me he is over 3 years old but I am not so sure about that lol since she lied about the neutering

I’m sorry the former owner lied, I guess she wanted to be rid of him and didn’t care. I would still get him neutered, you don’t want to one day find yourself with a suddenly hormonal senior bun that’s too old to be neutered.

What a lucky break that he’s so well behaved though! 🙂
