Need help bonding my bunnies

  I am a proud bunny mama to two beautiful rabbits, Randall (neutered male, 1 year) and Rebecca (spayed female 8 months). I adopted Randall several months before deciding to adopt another bunny. I let them smell each other through the bars of their cage for 1 week before introducing them without a barrier. I put both bunnies in a playpen in a neutral territory, a fight broke out they were both unhurt but had to be separated. I decided that they needed more time so I gave them two more weeks with a barrier before trying to bond again. Unfortunately, they fought again. I am just not sure what to do next. Any advice would be appreciated.

  Have you done any pre-bonding (side swaps)?
  
  There are a number of things to you can try with bunnies that fight right away. I think to start I would do a few (more?) weeks of pre-bonding, where you swap which bunny is on each side every day or two.
  
  In sessions, it is common for the bunnies to try to fight. Your job is to prevent the fights, so you need to be right there ready to break up any disputes. It helps to wear heavy leather gloves for that purpose so you don’t get bitten by mistake. Did they immediately just go for each other, or did the fight occur after a few minutes?
