I currently have 2 female rabbits who are bonded, Fefe(2 yrs) and Bunbun(3 yrs). Fefe was previously bonded with another female that past away. I got BunBun a few months later. They took awhile to bond. They were separated at first and Fefe would always try to get into Bunbun’s cage and try to fight. Now they get along but there is some little tiffs Every  now and then. Fefe is very dominant with bunbun but she never was with the previous rabbit.

I am looking to get a 3rd rabbit that is a baby and also female. I am worried Fefe will try to fight with the new rabbit

You will need to go through the proper bonding process just as you did with the duo if you want to add a third. introducing any new rabbit into a household can also upset the current bond, especially if it is a bit tenuous to begin with. You would also need to wait for the baby to get old enough to be spayed. Any particular reason why you are going with all females? And are they all spayed?

The 2 I have now are both spayed. I did not pick another female intentionally. That is what was available with where I am looking. Is it better to get a male?

It can sometimes be easier to bond males, but any combo is possible. You would also probably be able to get a male neutered younger. Young bunnies are sometimes mis-sexed, so I was mostly just checking that your current girls were spayed to prevent any accidental pregnancies in case the new bunny was actually male.

It’s hard to predict how it will go with a new bunny, but you should have a back-up plan in case it isn’t possible to bond the trio, or in case the current duo-bond breaks with the new bunny in the house.
