Guys are these positions of pain or just him sitting normally? I think he’s still been having gas. He looks like he’s grinding his teeth a bit but I can’t hear over the ac in my room. I’m trying to get them a vet appointment so they can get annual check ups and just to make sure they’re healthy right now. Looking for a vet in my area though.

Hmmm, normally I would say he is just relaxing, my girls will do that position sometimes, but you can tell it is because they are content. Tooth-grinding is a turning point though. Is he still in those positions, or was it just for a little bit? Gas could be causing him pain. If it was only for a little while though, I wouldn’t be worried. Maybe the gas is causing aches? Poor boy. 😥 If he is in pain, I would take him to the vet as soon as you can to get treatment. Wishing healing your way!

It does look a little uncomfortable, but that first pic could also be just before he was about to eat a cecal or groom.

Can you give a tummy rub? You can also try baby gas drops (simethicone).

Also, sometimes during the day I absolutely convince myself that Bun Jovi is in pain, and turns out he is just sleepy. If you offer a big of veg and he takes it, he is prob just sleepy.

@HipHopBunny Thank you! It was just for a little bit but he was doing it yesterday for a bit too.  I’m gonna try to get an appointment when I can find a good vet in my area!

@DanaNM Yeah I’m not sure… He left poops there when he got up. He poops everywhere in his pen though. I give him veggies and pellets in the morning and he always eats everything. I was giving him belly rubs a couple days ago but I’ll try giving him more. The baby gas drops won’t do any harm right? Where do you get them, and what brand do you use? Thank you!

I think I just have a generic brand from a random drug store (like prob Equate brand?). As long as it’s baby gas drops (active ingredient simethicone) you will be good to go. And it won’t hurt him at all, even if he doesn’t need it. Some bunnies really like the taste so it’s almost a treat to them.

Encouraging some gentle movement can also help if it is gas.

@DanaNM Thank you! How much should I give and how? In a syringe? He’s about 7lbs according to the animal rescue he came from a few weeks ago.

Once you get it you can confirm the concentration, but with most types it’s 1-2 ml once an hour for 2-3 doses. If you haven’t seen an improvement by then, it prob won’t help. So you could try 1 mL and see how he does.
